About Us

The Moore Center is the longest-established eating disorder treatment facility in Washington state and has been dedicated to treating patients with eating disorders for more than two decades. Founded in 1991, The Moore Center has treated over 6,000 patients since its inception. Located in Bellevue, a multidisciplinary team of professionals delivers cutting-edge medical, psychiatric, psychological and nutritional interventions through a continuum of care that includes Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Services. Additionally, the Moore Center has partnered with Eating Recovery Center, an international center providing comprehensive treatment for anorexia, bulimia, EDNOS and binge eating disorder, to provide a higher level of care resource to patients and families requiring a higher level of care.

The Moore Center is accredited through the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission’s mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process that centers on enhancing the lives of the persons served. The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval™ is an internationally recognized symbol of quality. Organizations that earn the Gold Seal have met rigorous performance standards to obtain this distinctive accreditation. Only a small percentage of healthcare facilities have completed and excelled in this thorough evaluation.

Your concern will be directly sent to the relevant member of The Moore Center’s management team. As a facility accredited by the Joint Commission, individuals with safety or quality of care concerns regarding a patient’s treatment at The Moore Center have the right to contact the Joint Commission directly to make a complaint.
