ALISON MAY, MACP, LMHCA
RIVA Administrator/Lead Therapist
Alison completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Puget Sound and her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Mars Hill Graduate School. Before starting graduate school she mentored college-aged students during the academic year and guided wilderness trips for adolescents during the summer. These experiences combined with her own story solidified her desire to help those struggling with eating disorders. Alison completed her graduate internship at The Moore Center. Her therapeutic orientation is predominately interpersonal and psychodynamic focusing on relational dynamics of the individual, family, and greater community. In her free time Alison loves spending time with friends, playing outside, and relaxing.
